The event is presented by the Lake Mead Boat Owners Association and it features dozens of boats that have been all gussied up and decorated to exude holiday spirit. You'll spot all sorts of eye-popping light displays and beloved Christmas characters among the boats.
The parade begins at sundown but you'll want to get there early to secure the perfect viewing spot. There's nothing like the sight of twinkling holiday lights dancing over Lake Mead's beautiful waters.
The association also hands out numerous awards for different boat classes and display themes. There are three awards for best presentation so be sure to stick around and see if your favorite boat wins the big prize.
