New housing community with resort-style amenities to open at Lake Las Vegas
HENDERSON, Nev. (KSNV) — Del Webb, the national juggernaut for “active adult” communities, is expecting to celebrate the grand opening of its first development in the Las Vegas area in more than 10 years this week.
Del Webb at Lake Las Vegas, located at East Mead Parkway and Lake Las Vegas Parkway, opens on Saturday, Feb. 8, featuring around 460 homes at buildout.
The gated community will be comprised of nine single-story floor plans that range from 1,579 to at least 2,736 square feet with two to four bedrooms, two to 3.5 bathrooms and two- to three-car garages.
Each home features covered patios that aim to incorporate the outdoor space with the open concept floor plans.
Select models will have oversized garage space and golf cart storage as well as dual master suites.
The clubhouse at the community will have resort-style amenities with indoor and outdoor recreation options, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, lap and resort pools, a spa, pickleball and bocce ball courts and a community event lawn with an outdoor fire pit.
Pricing for the homes starts in the low $400,000s.

Del Webb, a brand of PulteGroup, Inc., feels that with Las Vegas being one of the top markets for active adult buyers the area is perfect for their target homebuyer.
“Given the ongoing growth in market demand, we are thrilled to bring the renowned Del Webb lifestyle back to the greater Las Vegas area,” said Ryan Breen, president of PulteGroup’s Las Vegas division.
The company also plans to bring Del Webb at North Ranch, located at the northwest corner of Centennial Parkway and Losee Road, which is scheduled to open on March 7 with eight new model homes.
An all-inclusive recreation center at the gated North Ranch community will feature a relaxing pool, lap pool, a fitness center and is near to the Aliante Golf Course.
Sun City Mesquite, also opening this month on Feb. 15, will unveil the new Cottage series models. These will include key aspects that look to grant residents better openness for entertaining, incorporation of outdoor living spaces as the extension of the home, more storage and energy-efficient upgrades.
“In combination with Sun City Mesquite, our Del Webb at Lake Las Vegas and North Ranch communities offer active adult buyers an unmatched selection of locations, floor plans and recreation,” said Breen.
